A Life Without Limits

by Anthony on March 24, 2008

There was once a day, where no problems lay,
a smile came the day it was born,
to wake a better evening still,
there awaken a life with no limits.

What must there be to live free,
there is no better freedom then to see,
to see that there are no limits just little
ol’ me.

I was guided by the spirit along side of me,
that pushed away the careless ways,
that I can live today, and still be free.
There the same, a life without limits.

What must I do, I said,
there can not be another day like this,
sure there is, for there is no other day,
no day like the Now.

Be there, stay there, in the Now,
for there will be yet another day,
the ego will creep to keep you away.
There is no life without limits,
you are here to stay.

That is VERY good, Anthony! You need to continue to be inspired as you definitely have the touch!

Just thought as I’m listening to good ole gospel music that this poem could be set to music!

Yes, when we live in the Now, things are a lot better, feel better and go much better. It is that staying in the Now is still a struggle for me, my mind seems to still want the control of my life and all of its problems, believed or imagined.
Your poem is beautiful, thanks to you.
