The Attitude of Gratitude

I am very grateful for the many blessings that have been bestowed upon me in my life. I have been blessed with great parents, teachers, mentors, and friends. My biggest blessing I would have to say is, the love of my life, my wife, Jessica. She is an amazing person, and I grateful that we work together very well. We have fun, and we are continuing to learn and grow together. I am truly blessed!

What are somethings that you are grateful for? Taking the time each day to think about the things you are grateful for will help you to be in a state of feeling good. I have heard it before that there is nothing more important than being in a state of feeling good. This is yet another reason why gratitude is so powerful. I know, when I am thinking of the things I am grateful for I begin to really feel good.

Now, what are you grateful for? It’s time you get into a state of feeling good.

Make it a great day!

3 Questions You Must Ask Yourself Everyday

There is one thing that has helped me stay focused more than any other thing, and that is writing down three things throughout my day. Anytime I am not feeling good, or just need a boost of uplifting, I turn to these powerful questions.

What am I grateful for right now?
What am I happy about right now?
What have I done well today?

By writing the things that you are grateful for, it shifts your thinking from what you don’t have to what you do. What ever you focus on expands. So, if you are focusing on the things that you are grateful for, you will receive more things to be grateful for in your life. That is how it works. That is the law of attraction. The opposite is true as well. If you focus on all the things you don’t have, you will continue to repel the very thing you want from you, because you are FOCUSING on what you don’t have. That is the law of attraction at work also.

I know at times when there doesn’t seem to be anything to be happy about it is hard to answer the, what are you happy about right now, question. However, if you really think about it, there is something that would at least have you cracking a smile. Maybe your happy to have read this today, or that you are happy you are taking action towards fulfilling a life dream of yours.

The reason for the third question is to give yourself credit for the things you do well. There are things that you do very well everyday, however, if you never notice it, or give yourself credit for it, it tends to lose its significance. YOU have a lot to offer to this world, the people around you, to this nation. YOU have gifts that no one else does, and it is important that you recognize these everyday. So, be sure to give yourself credit, and let YOURSELF know that you do have a lot to offer.

If at anytime you are feeling down, or things don’t seem to be going the way you would like it to be, take the time to go over those three questions. Once you shift your focus to what is not making you feel good in the moment, to what you are grateful for and happy about, and what you have done well, you will begin to feel a shift within you.

I did not come up with three questions myself. I discovered them about three years ago. I have heard two people making reference to these three questions. I would give the credit to who ever came up with them, however, I don’t. I am sure the person who did come up with the questions wanted to help people in some way. May they help you too.

Blessings,

You Don’t Have to Get it Right, You Just Have to Get It Going!

That title is from a quote by Mike Litman. I must give credit where credit is do.

For many years I was a perfectionist. I had to have everything just perfect, or I had to know everything on how to do something before I would ever try doing it. I realize I had this problem because I did not want to fail. I did not want to look like a fool, or embarrass myself. I wanted to skip the learning curve and step right into success. I was a perfect candidate for all the “get rich quick” programs out there.

Soon after reading and pondering Mike Litman’s quote, I realized I had been wasting soooo much time trying to get things perfect, just right!

Have you allowed yourself to make up excuses for never giving your full effort, or are you struggling with being a perfectionist like I did. Or, maybe you have been held back by fear. The fear of failure, the fear of the unknown.

Are you taking this course to see if things will finally change for you? Or, are you finally saying enough is enough. I am tired of sitting on the sidelines and I am going to start taking 100% responsibility for my life, and I am going to start making things happen. I am not going to settle for second best. I am going to be my best and I am willing to fail. I am willing to fail and face the unknown, because I know that if I fall I am going to get right back up and keep moving forward. I know that I don’t have to get it right, but I am going to get it going.

To Your NEW Life,
Anthony

P.S. What do you think are the results you will have in your life by the way you are thinking, feeling, and believing right now?
