There is one thing that has helped me stay focused more than any other thing, and that is writing down three things throughout my day. Anytime I am not feeling good, or just need a boost of uplifting, I turn to these powerful questions.
What am I grateful for right now?
What am I happy about right now?
What have I done well today?
By writing the things that you are grateful for, it shifts your thinking from what you don’t have to what you do. What ever you focus on expands. So, if you are focusing on the things that you are grateful for, you will receive more things to be grateful for in your life. That is how it works. That is the law of attraction. The opposite is true as well. If you focus on all the things you don’t have, you will continue to repel the very thing you want from you, because you are FOCUSING on what you don’t have. That is the law of attraction at work also.
I know at times when there doesn’t seem to be anything to be happy about it is hard to answer the, what are you happy about right now, question. However, if you really think about it, there is something that would at least have you cracking a smile. Maybe your happy to have read this today, or that you are happy you are taking action towards fulfilling a life dream of yours.
The reason for the third question is to give yourself credit for the things you do well. There are things that you do very well everyday, however, if you never notice it, or give yourself credit for it, it tends to lose its significance. YOU have a lot to offer to this world, the people around you, to this nation. YOU have gifts that no one else does, and it is important that you recognize these everyday. So, be sure to give yourself credit, and let YOURSELF know that you do have a lot to offer.
If at anytime you are feeling down, or things don’t seem to be going the way you would like it to be, take the time to go over those three questions. Once you shift your focus to what is not making you feel good in the moment, to what you are grateful for and happy about, and what you have done well, you will begin to feel a shift within you.
I did not come up with three questions myself. I discovered them about three years ago. I have heard two people making reference to these three questions. I would give the credit to who ever came up with them, however, I don’t. I am sure the person who did come up with the questions wanted to help people in some way. May they help you too.

Dear Anthony,
Thank you for creating the 12 Week Life Transformation. I really enjoy listening to the gems of knowledge that you have collected through these interviews and I love the tips you offer in your newsletter. I have just run through the gratitude questions and could immediately feel the shift. Although I do write my gratitude list daily, these 3 questions have allowed me to stop and instead of getting overwhelmed by the various tasks of the day, I suddenly realized that, yes there are still things I need to accomplish today but have had a lot done already. I just never stopped to focus on the positive. So thank you for reminding me.
You have also asked me if you could help me with something. You’ve asked so you shall be given! I am concentrating on creating and drawing into my life the right profession, my ideal job. I have created the parameters for it, written lists of what sort of activities I enjoy, trying to apply the principles of manifestation. Then it dawn on me that I am always looking outside for an answer when instead I should simply concentrate on what I already have. I am trained as a Journey practitioner. I don’t know if you have heard of this therapy. ( You can check it out on http://www.the journey.com) I love this work and it has had a huge impact on my life and on the life of my clients, however I am blocking the attraction process. Even though my fees are the third of what others ask for the process I have a subconscious belief that it is expensive. And that’s the belief I put out to the universe, no wonder in comes back to me with no clients. My question is what sort of technique do you know that works well on changing deep rooted belief systems. I am doing EFT regularly, and it has already made some shift, but I feel something deeper is going on, possibly related to worthiness issue. Thank you so much for your help and congratulations again for putting together this great program.
Many Blessings,
Gabriella
Gabriella,
I think you are on the right track. Keep doing what you are currently implementing. EFT is very useful for a lot of things. Also, I think you may have answered your own question. If you feel unworthy, then that is what you are projecting out to the universe, and that is what you are receiving in return. Use EFT in dealing with the issue of unworthiness.
One thing to ask yourself is, why do I feel unworthy? Take time to really think about that, and think back to a time when something might have caused you to believe that you were unworthy.
The true is, is that you are worthy. You are a unique person with special gifts and talents, and you have much to offer. Use your gifts, “choose” and “believe” that you are worthy, and the universe will respond.

Thank you for posting a comment.

I find myself thanking God all day long, for small things as well for the larger ones that are on their way which I cannot see with my physical eyes yet. In everything, I give thanks, even if it were a painful experience or decision that I had to go through for a learning process. When I look back on my life and look at it now, I cannot help but to be thankful. Even though all my desires haven’t manifested yet, I’m so far advanced now than I was years ago in my understanding of the universal laws. God has put people in my path that are constantly teaching me new things and I’m almost 59 yrs old. I’m looking forward to those things I desire to become a reality in my world.

I, too, have begun to begin each day going over things that I am thankful for, such as my health, my family, friendships, mentors, this program, cyberspace, etc. I also end each day the same way. Days when I feel I am spinning my wheels, I have to step back and realize that even though I may not accomplish all that I set out to do, I still accomplish more in one day than most people accomplish in a week’s time. I still always strive for more and also for more info. Some of the things I have to work on deal with fear… fear of failure, fair of rejection, fear of saying the wrong thing….it is a constant struggle. Since I have begun this course, I feel more confident in myself in all aspects, though. Another thing I have become conscience of is that I am always complementing people on how they look or some accomplishment that they have achieved, but I always get taken back when someone compliments me. I seem to have a hard time accepting it. And I am realizing that I must not feel worthy of the compliment, which means I need to work more on my self worth. I will end this by saying I am grateful for the knowledge you are sending my way.
Thanks for this opportunity to list 3 things;
I am grateful for this day to FEEL my dreams and desires forming.
I grateful for the air I breath. Air I take in to create my energy tthen send out as I exhale.
I am grateful for all this day shows me, as I am alive to enjoy it!
Hi there… I am grateful for all my friends, since becoming new thought I have had to change many friendships. My new friends are so supportive this makes my heart swell with gratirude. I have also met the most wonderful guy who is spiritual another gratefullness. Gratetude is in my thoughts as well when I think of all the other things I know are on their way into my life. My intention is to have the most wonderful life filled with love and joy with much prosperity. I am starting with expanding my threshold into having and receiving more The universe will guide me into achieving my goals as it always has, only now I am listening. Your wish is my command…….The next thing a bed and breakfast…..
Anthony,
It all boils down to
Persistence, Focus and a Conscienceness of Deserving
Being greatful is good to add to the list.
As long as it doesn’t mean an obligation of recieving.
Being truely grateful is a valueable way to view the universe.
Thank You for that.

This is my second week in the 12 week transformation program. I am enjoying the interviews and have been applying the principles to my everyday life. I feel a sense of peace most of the time and when challenges come my way I have had a definate change in how I react. My way of thinking about money has gone from that of a Baptist i.e. to have money and possessions is of a materialistic nature, to I am thankful for the abundance and blessings I have receieved and I ask that I be a good steward of all that you have given me so I can continue to experience a pouring out of you abundance in every aspect of my entity. Thank you for helping me to make this shift in my own life transformation.
Thanks so much for the positive messages this site has really given me insight about life . I forget at times to have my attitude of gratitude but I eventually get back on track.
I was able to convey the gratitude message to an ailing sister.
I am a believer that what one sends out into the Universe usually one gets it in return.
I choose to send positive!!!
Many blessings!

I agree that these questions can effect a turn around in mood. Thank you Anthony for reminding us to use them. I live in London and many days as I walk through town I repeat gratitudes in my mind. I always preface with “I feel happy and grateful now that…I am choosing happiness and love each moment, or, money flows easily into my checking account”, or whatever seems important for me to remember that day. This always lifts me up and I find myself smiling at all the people I pass and enjoying their reactions.
Greetings:
I am so glad that when I take my daily shower, in hot water, I don’t have to take any artificial limb off. I can reach up and shampoo the back of my head. I can rinse and dry myself without any assistance. I can type this note having manual dexterity and command of English.
Wow!! That’s all for now.

I am thankful that I have unlimited potential. I am thankful for my wife, children, grandchildren and our families. I am thankful for the opportunity to stretch my mind and to live the life I am destined to live. I have been manifesting my desires for a number of years without really knowing it. I now realize I have control over my life, even when everyday issues come against my desired result. God is awesome and is the real reason for all my success in life. Thank God for Anthony, Anisa and the whole team of consultants and manifesting gurus. The Universe and God is working to provide me with everything needed to generate the resources needed to accomplish the my current goals. Thanks for taking away every excuse.

I am grateful to have had my teacher refer me to the 12 WeekLife Transformation. For she has given me my life back for I use to be in a wheelchair, oxygen and having a mask and intravenous therapy. Now, I am so grateful I can walk, breathe the air and have overcome some of my fears. Taking this course has open doors and made me realize that it confirms her teachings to the one’s she is helping on this planet. Grateful to see how one can reprogram oneself from the old ways and integrate our own reality.., turning the negativities to positive attitudes and believe in our vision.
I am grateful for the little things we take for granted, air we breath, water we drink, food we eat, clothing shelter, for the grass, pastures, trees, insects that bug us, the beauty of nature. and that I woke up got out of bed and have been giving and receiving unconditional love from my dogs. I am thankful for the presence I feel that let’s me know all is well with my soul and in my life. I am grateful for time, time with God, my dogs, family and friends.. For things God has trusted to my care that make my life more pleasant and the promise of eternal life without pain, sickness, sadness, death etc. My salvation and God working His miracles through me.
Thanks Anthony,
I’m in the habit of using these first two questions daily, but I use the form of affirmation rather than question. Each morning when I awaken I say, “I am happy and grateful for _______”. During the day when situations confront me where I am feeling impatient or angry or vulnerable, I use this statement of happiness and gratitude again with whatever it is that is challenging me. Ex., “I am so happy and grateful for the money to pay the electric bill.” So, I have been remembering to find and express my happiness and gratitude…but I have certainly forgotten that third question, which prompts me to congratulate my own efforts. Thank you for this reminder to honor myself each day as well!
I am so grateful to join this program. I love to listen to the audios and to check the website. I am sure there are many who make a difference in their lives just by taking this one action of joining this program. Changing our beliefs in the positive way help change our lives in the right direction for us.
I just read Gabriela’s comments above and what she said about her current work resonated with me. I have a private mental health practice and I, too, have set my fees lower than others in this area. I now see that by doing that I am saying I don’t deserve to receive more. I am going to focus my attention on this and change my perspective. Thanks.
